Our Story
Everleaf Herbal might be described as selling herbal remedies, but there's much more to it than that.
We sell remedies that are built out of knowledge and kindness, and these qualities permeate everything we do and stand for.
Everleaf Herbal’s purpose is to deliver high-quality herbal solutions rooted in kindness, compassion and perseverance. We believe that answers can be found in nature, if you know how to find and extract them, and we reflect that belief in every product we create.
We don’t make extravagant claims that our products will cure you of anything. If you need that, we’d recommend the appropriate medical options. But we’ll provide gentle support to not only help you feel healthy, but to feel good, as well.
Where it started
Everleaf Herbal started for the most natural reason in the world — we wanted to find a way of helping our daughter.
Fiona was born with a rare genetic condition. She needed an emergency tracheostomy at just ten days old and has undergone more than 25 operations
throughout her life. These have included procedures relating to her jaw, hearing and other aspects of her condition, with further major surgery planned in
2026 as part of her ongoing treatment.
However, her condition had left her low in comfort and confidence, and no products seemed able to address this. So, while Emi continued to work
on the Everleaf photography business that brought in the income, Andrew began researching herbal remedies. He qualified in May 2023 with a Diploma in Advanced Herbalism from the School of Natural Health Sciences and is registered as an Associate Member, entitled to use the letters S.N.H.S. Dip.
(Advanced Herbalism).
This study enabled him to create treatments that helped Fiona feel in control of her life. But the process had also shown us how much could be done with
carefully tailored herbal remedies, and so Everleaf Herbal was born.
Learning to Create Better Solutions
From our High Street premises in Cheshunt, we produce everything from herbal teas to balms that allow our customers, just like Fiona, to feel more comfortable
and more in control of their lives. And we don’t chase trends or assumptions about what people need.
Most of our products have been created with a specific person in mind, though they almost always turn out to be just as gently effective for others.
What we do now
Everleaf Herbal has been gradually evolving through 2025 and 2026, and was recently named winner of the Rising Star Award for 2026 at the Plant Based Product Awards. This meant a lot to us, as Everleaf Herbal has grown steadily from a family need into a business focused on thoughtful, plant-led products.
We also received an Award of Excellence for Health, Wellness & Herbal Remedy Specialists 2026, recognising our approach to natural herbal products, sensitive skincare and plant-led wellbeing solutions.
Our products are designed for people who don’t tolerate mass-produced cosmetics — those looking for something gentler, more considered, and made with real care.
Optimistic ending
As for Fiona, she’s finished at Hertford Regional College in 2026, studying graphic design and is expected to graduate with at least a merit. She recently won
the college’s Skills for Success Award for Challenge for cofounding a British Sign Language group. The citation recognised that:
“She meets challenges with courage, resilience, compassion, and determination. She is not only overcoming her own barriers — she is helping to remove them for others too.”
Fiona has three university offers to take her passion for graphic design further. Her plan, after a gap year for further surgery, is to go to the University
of Hertfordshire and then set up her own business.
In the meantime, she’s now involved in the business that was founded to help her and is shaping how Everleaf Herbal’s brand looks. It’s hard to think of a better illustration of how the universe gives back when you approach it with the right values.
